Joan Dieterich Hunsperger
Ms. Hunsperger’s legal career began in 1981 working with a sole practitioner in Fort Collins, Colorado. There she was introduced to civil litigation, domestic relations, collections, criminal, and bankruptcy, along with all aspects of operating a small law firm. The position ranged from typical secretarial and paralegal duties to managing the firm’s accounting and administrative functions. In 1989 she moved to Denver, Colorado, to enroll in a Paralegal Certification program and to further her career as a paralegal, working with firms specializing in real estate, commercial litigation, workers’ compensation, and bankruptcy proceedings.
Ms Hunsperger joined Weller Friedrich, LLC in 1993 as a paralegal for the managing partner, Marc Brosseau, and continues as a paralegal with Brosseau Bartlett Lieberman, LLC. Her litigation career since that time specializes in areas of product liability and oil & gas litigation. Ms. Hunsperger also plays an important role in the firm’s accounting and administration activities.
Ms. Hunsperger’s family has resided in Colorado since the 1940s and she is passionate about skiing, exploring our beautiful mountains, gardening, and Labrador retrievers.
Position: Legal Assistant
Ms. English previously served as a criminal defense legal assistant before joining the BBL team in 2019. During that time, she managed a heavy caseload and worked diligently alongside the attorneys at her firm to get the best possible results for their clients. She has a combined total of three years of legal experience and over seven years’ experience as a dedicated administrative professional. Ms. English has a passion for the law and aspires to continue her legal education in the years to come. Ms. English grew up in Colorado and enjoys the outdoors with her friends, family, and German Shepherd Dakota.
